Buggered if I know…

I did a ‘throw it out there’ email to a small group of friends the other day…

It’s OK… they all think I’m a complete looney already – in the nicest way (I now park that unnecessary ego trip in the rented garage down the road…)

The short version was – take the vox-pop of ‘the box’. You know… thinking inside, or… outside the box.

And pressing on from that I wanted to suggest a ‘what if’…

What if?… there isn’t actually a box at all? – maybe there isn’t a box to be inside… or outside?

Or another variation on the theme, what might happen if you just turn ‘the (imaginary) box’ totally inside out…?

Then a fantastic response vision was…

‘Sod the box’… here’s a completely different view… what about it’s all just a ‘balloon’?

You see? Its complicated. It might all be just a matter of perspective… your box, is another’s balloon, and then it’s just as easy that another’s balloon is, yet another’s yogi-bear cookie cutter

The entire universe is based on cookie-cutter shaped yogi-bears?

Unlikely… common sense… less easy, though, to dismiss balloon and box shapes of the modern nihilistic de-construction of the place in which we reside I venture to suggest… I don’t know about you.. but I’m OK with dismissing my own quasi-theoretical yogi-bear shaped universe

So, at that point we are stuck with ‘possibles’ – boxes and balloons.

Inside boxes, or, possibly, ‘specs’ on balloons…

It’ll be your call… but ‘at the end of the day’ I Love my friends – so my guess is – boxes, balloons, or cookie-cutter yogi-bears are fairly inadequate descriptions of Love…

The nihilistic ‘flat-land’ of modernity, the soul-less scientific view, must be, surely, at least, a partially incomplete view of the blessed liberation and freedom of reality that we actually find ourselves (as complete – physical, emotional and spiritual – human beings) roaming about in?

If it ain’t evolution, quantum mechanics, or the speed of light – science – it ‘don’t exist’?

Be buggered – I felt Love today – and it was real.
