“We hear you Tranquillity Base, let’s solve it by borrowing more money…”
Is this the madness we are currently seeing?
I must disclose that I saw/heard some commentator make the very tongue in cheek observation that went something like:
“isn’t this clever - the original problem was caused by debt - so lets borrow more money to fix [...]

This from a friend - the connection is exploring the vastly wide relationship to everything if you start looking at the impact Darwin’s theories have on our percieved nature of the world…
“ego-driven, space-time, meat vehicle…” is fun…
Another great fun ‘Creature Comforts‘ from Aardman - who (Aardman), are going to release a new Wallace and Gromit [...]

Bog roll, toilet paper, bathroom tissue. Call it what you like; we all use it. Well, most of us …
In fact, it used to be the case in the ‘good old days’ in Egypt that, when you went to visit an interesting site which had been open to the public for years and [...]

Welcome back!
I missed ya!
Your antics, and your haste…
No time to waste now groovers,
not now…
The tree frames are on show.
Welcome back,
you crazy looking punk rocker!
Looney tunes is just pretending…
No pretending here,
as the fog rolls in,
this is the real thing,
serious stuff,
these seasons cycles bring.
Welcome back!
The cutest of english ‘rats’…
Missed ya, and all ya’ fluffiness.
No time for fun [...]

I’m broadband-less again… it happens rarely, but when it does I’m just a little lost without the 4th dimension (the Internet).
If that makes me a saddo, a geek, or whatever other derogatory term you’d like to call me… well, so be it…
If people have dial-up as their main Internet connection at home they are not [...]

Our village bobby was driving along the road when he saw an old boy in his car crawling along at 17 miles per hour.
He stopped him and asked why he was driving so slowly. The old boy replies - “well it’s 17 mph limit. You can tell by all those signs saying 17″
Our policeman politely [...]

Well if it comes to UK road travel I doubt that is the case…
With occasion to be covering a fair few UK road miles in the past few days - and over the next week or two I suspect quite a few more - I thought I’d look up some stats to see whether the [...]

Beauracracy gone mad II?
November 13th, 2007 · No Comments
Jeesh! I haven’t been employed, or resident, in the UK since Nov 2006. I advised Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs service (HMRC) of this during 2007 - in fact I received a tax refund sometime mid-year (because I hadn’t work the whole year in the UK hence was over taxed).
Today I received a letter (posted [...]

There is no G-Phone
November 12th, 2007 · No Comments
All the hype was actually a bit of a misnomer - what actually exists, and has just been released as a Software Development Kit (SDK, via Google OS), is an open source development platform for Mobile Phones created by Google called Android.
We may finally be able to do something useful with mobile phones…
Is this important? [...]
