I have to say that I spend little, to no, time in Second Life these days - preferring to observe the most recent predictions of its impending collapse (what? again?…) from the reality of physical-ness - sitting in front my computer and web browser (I’m sure there’s an oxymoron in there somewhere).

It is true, in my opinion, that the latest debacles regarding Identification and the imposition of European VAT will hurt Second Life - but I’m not writing about those today.

Apart from past technology exploration - which was my main purpose - I have thoroughly enjoyed having exposure to the creative folks who ‘take up residence’ in Second Life.

And one of my all time favourites is the personage of Ordinal Malaprop - who maintains a role-paying consistency in and out ‘of world’ which is, in my eyes, just great fun (not to mention talented in many ways). And I have always been particularly fond of her writings.

I recently caught this blog article via the Aethernet which is a must read for avatars and humans alike.
